Its edges were bubbly and smooth, almost volumptuous. She took corners like a dream, tilting her entire frame sideways as if the axle was a teeter totter. A pure classic, character beamed from every inch- like the desert sun did from its perfectly waxed, gleaming exterior. In the most minute details you could tell its maker was its biggest critic, all the way down to the buttons on the console. The wood grain steering wheel fit so nicely in your hands, almost like it was pre-carved to match each tug as you pulled to take the next turn. This is what it would feel like to drive a cloud, I thought to myself.
It was a car that I imagined owning one day. It wasn’t a sexy bombshell, flaunting money like a Lambo, Ferrari, or even a Bentley might. No this puppy didn’t beg for attention at all. It had something special about it; something intangible that only time could give it.
Little did I know that this car was discontinued and far from easy to find. When I tasted our 2013 MINT SYRAH I weirdly went right back to this car, and the joy ride I had that memorable Arizona evening.
Unknown, rare, pristine, MINT CONDITION and valet quality. Something a collector would only know about. I didn’t make much of this beauty, and I can tell you MINT will be discontinued indefinately once we run out, just like the car its named after. It’s smooth, and built for the long haul. A black tie, piano infused, cocktail, cigar wafting, charred steak lingering in the background kind of night. Mint wont beat you off the line, but it will catch up somewhere down the road. It might also steal your girl.

Bright purple. Aromas of ripe dark berries, vanilla, candied licorice and woodsmoke, with a peppery nuance adding urgency and lift. Supple and broad in the mouth, offering cassis and bitter cherry flavors that become sweeter with air. This plush yet lively wine finishes with strong bite and velvety tannins.
