With vine row neighbors that read like a wine all star team, and Jedi-like farmers, I'm honored to source a few boxes of grapes from this vineyard.
Stolpman Vineyard is located in Ballard Canyon, and infamously known for its Rhone varietals that are grown through warm days, and even colder nights. Dry farmed, organic, limestone soils assure a stressed vine and concentrated fruit. Stolpman fruit always blows me away, reaching perfect levels of ripeness while holding onto great acidity.
I source Petite Sirah, and Roussanne from Stolpman Vineyards. 152 acres planted. Organic. Ballard Canyon AVA. Farmers: Peter Stolpman & Family, Ruben Solorzano
