White Hawk is situated at 900 feet above sea level on 60 acres of ancient, south facing sand dunes. With its close proximity to the ocean, the sun and fog take turns with the vines, slowly messaging the Syrah to perfection. I’d consider this vineyard cooler climate. The fruit is always beautiful, the yields are stupidly small, and the juice is darker than your worst nightmare.
